If your new year's resolution is to shed some pounds, we’re hoping that our top tips for getting fit in 2020 will help you to achieve your goals.

Start With a Healthy Diet

Log your food intake to see what food items contain too much fat or sugar so you can get an idea of the foods that you could replace with healthy alternatives.

Make Changes Gradually

Set yourself realistic goals and you’re more likely to achieve them. If you drastically cut your calorie intake overnight or try to start exercising 5 days a week, chances are, you’re going to fall at the first hurdle. Start by making gradual changes and build them up over time.

Try a Class

Fitness classes can be a fun way of exercising and meeting new people. They also provide a great way of keeping yourself motivated in the long run.

Stick With It

Be persistent. To achieve the goals you’ve set for yourself you’ll need to make long term lifestyle changes. Changes will take place gradually and by the time you notice the change in lifestyle, you will already have established them firmly. It will only take you a few weeks to start seeing the effects of these habits and you’ll start to lose weight and feel healthier.
